Robert A. Stuart, M.D.
Dr. Stuart was born in Oak Park, Illinois. He received his bachelor's degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed his medical school training and internship at Loyola University in Chicago. He finished his residency training in general surgery and urology at the University of Illinois, West Side Veterans Hospital, and Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Stuart has been associated with Peoria Urological Associates since 1985. He is a Board Certified Urologist, and also has passed the Urology Board Recertification Examination that is given after 10 years of urological practice. His special interests are in urinary incontinence and brachytherapy. Brachytherapy is a treatment for prostate cancer in which radioactive seeds are placed into the prostate with ultrasound guidance. Dr. Stuart was the first urologist in Illinois to pioneer the use of brachytherapy.
Dr. Stuart also supports many charitable causes such as the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate and the Children's Miracle Network.
Dr. Stuart's hobbies include golf and tennis. He lives in Dunlap, Illinois with his wife Marilynn and their two children.
